Dusty is his name and raisin' Hell is his game. As of December 2001, Dave officially adopted young Dusty from the U.S. Government Department Bureau of Land Management. He was just a few days old at time of capture.

Dusty is a male "or Jack Burro" who has been in training with Diamondback Dave for three months. We're not sure to-date who is easier to train - Dave or Dusty!

Dusty displays a good potential to serve as a gold miner's beast of burden. With another year or so of growth and steady training, Dusty "oughta" have Diamondback Dave "eating out of his hoof" or is it the other way around?

His new pardner Dusty, should be accompanying him and Holly in the mountains in the near future.

Update on Dusty's progress to follow!
